Modelling supply chain viability during COVID-19 disruption: A case of an Indian automobile manufacturing supply chain

In recent years, supply chains seem to be moving more towards reconfiguring their networks become profitable. the times of COVID-19, where whole have been disrupted, suppliers are unable supply, and manufacturers manufacture because lockdowns in various regions around world. This pandemic can compared past earthquakes tsunamis, as coronavirus is also a natural disaster. Due these disruptions, organizations taken many precautions developed risk mitigation strategies manage them. Because COVID-19 outbreak shows importance new business perspectives like repurposing viability strategy, that comes with sustainability reconfigurability. Where reconfiguration focuses on adaptation, which directly means changes resources capabilities quick response solution address shortage. this paper, study has done two phases model an automobile chain during times. first phase, hybrid Multi-criteria Decision Making (MCDM) approach used get best criteria alternatives reconfigurability under consideration. The multi-objective mixed-integer linear programming (MOMILP) second phase. Suppliers' weight obtained will optimal order allocation. help develop cope situations hinder firm's competitiveness. A case Indian manufacturer show applicability effectiveness proposed methodology using GAMS/CPLEX solver.
